National Exchange Club celebrates 100th birthday with donation

Todd Truedson, president-elect of the Mooresville/Lake Norman Exchange Club, asked each club attending the Feb. 4 and 5 North Carolina District Exchange Club’s Mid-Winter Conference to bring 100 bottles of water.  The water collected was set aside to support the local Red Cross. 

Cases of water were brought to the conference and when the tally was totaled the district presented the Red Cross with 1122 bottles of water. Howard Hanlon, emergency services specialist for Iredell and Mecklenburg counties and Teresa Caver, interim CEO with the Red Cross, were on hand to accept the donation from the clubs, Truedson and Time Out Teddy.
